I claim to be from a council house on the mean streets of Wolverhampton, but here I am eating goose pizza.
After using RedX malt, crystal rye malt & cherry smoked malt in my Red Ale & really enjoying the combination of flavours, I've ordered more plus some Carafa III to make a mellow, smoky stout.

Also Munich malt & Hallertaur Hersbrucker hops for a lager while the outside temperature is in my favour.

It's been warmer.

Seems leaving my Straightforward Saison outside the back door for two & a half hours makes it throw a chill haze. It *is* good & cold though.

Good evening people over fifty.
Found while looking for something else. I used to have it on a T-shirt and thought I was really clever.

Last but one bottle of Red Ale. It really is red, honest. You just need a little imagination.

#NewYearNewBeer Mondo Brewing Texas Whistle. Fairly ordinary lager brewed in London. "Southern hospitality" my bum! Less than a quid at Home Bargains in Penrith.

Inspired by @boakandbailey.bsky.social these are my #GoldenPints from a person who doesn't get out much & mostly drinks homebrew at home.

Good evening to everyone who hasn't room in the fridge, so have their beer outside the back door to keep cold.

Kicking my heels in Workington this morning while my van was in the garage, so went for a walk along a path I've not walked before from the swimming pool towards the paper mill.

Dog shit footpath would be an apt name. I suppose it saves hanging it in bags from low branches.

The river Derwent sweeps through the Lake District National Park, Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite Lake & Cockermouth before reaching the sea in Workington - where the shopping trollies end up.

Just bottled the remainder of my Belgian Blonde ale that had Gueze Boon & Saison Dupont sediment added to the fermenter & held for another week. The gravity was 1.008, but tastes dry & a little like a white wine at this point.
