Reflection: I think radical transparency is ideal in organizations small and large. The caveat to this is that many humans are capricious and emotional, and as soon as a single organizational member uses radical transparency to push their own agenda rather than the company's it is gg.

off-the-shelf twap algos at the big custodians are attractive to asset managers but can get you worse ex. Make sure you're looking at LastLiquidityInd (tag 851) etc and actually doing some analysis. Annoying part is that some of the big ones don't provide ns level resolution on their fill data.

I have built bespoke multi-asset performance attribution and reconciliation systems but cannot keep a pair of socks around for more than 1 month. I literally buy 10 new pairs of socks every month. I don't know where they go.

Every time I go to Cambridge, MA I'm completely thrown off by the taste of the tap water. I'm not sure what it is; high in chlorine maybe? It's extremely noticeable to my palate to the point that I usually buy bottled water when visiting.

Decentralized social media will probably experience some of the visibility confusion that decentralized money did/does. "all my likes / profile / posts are public?": "everyone can see my balance and who I send money to?"

Are the newer models of AirPods any better for microphone quality / voice isolation? First gen airpods pro are completely unusable outside very quiet environments; I've gone back to using the $19 wired sets for most voice calls.

A weird fact about me is that I have a dedicated "summer drawer" in my dresser that has all the things I exclusively wear in summer weather: shorts, bathing suits, nice t-shirts etc. All other 5 other drawers in my dresser are dedicated to gloomy winter clothes. Just felt like sharing that.

I want to formally verify murky before beginning murky2 in earnest; however, the end-user ergonomic API does not play nicely with Certora/CVL. The issue is capturing and re-using bytes32[] in rule definitions. Merkle is abstract so I can write some specific fv impl, but really would prefer not to.

Cannot fathom arriving at the airport 2-3 hours before a flight in the US. 1h15 is the max I've ever needed barring issues known ahead of time (strikes, TSA staffing, etc). Domestic and international.
