Matilda has to be one of the most badass heroines of all time. She’s kind, she’s smart, she loves to read, she takes care of herself and gets shit done, she doesn’t tolerate stupidity, she’s moral, and she saves herself and Miss Honey.

The announcers of tonight’s UArizona basketball game were awful. The last call was awful. The BYU players are smug and rude.

Lots of it also starts and ends at home. There aren’t many public Montessori’s and they are expensive. Our public ed system is a gift, even when people don’t treat it as such. It could be so transformative.

Saw people shitting all over our public education system and today’s youth on Instagram in a post about Montessori kids vs public school kids. It makes me so frustrated how elitist it sounds and how totally incorrect it is. Both are valid and produce wonderful humans and questionable ones.
