Finally out! 🥳

now a very different question: people with longitudinal projects: what fun/cute/informative things did you come up with, to keep your cohort happy and entertained? I have a couple examples but curious what worked particularly well. 🙏🙏

do I know anyone who is familiar with work on how adults/children think about non-human minds? e.g., what beliefs and knowledge they have, how they will behave, how we reason about their needs, thoughts preferences etc? mainly curious about things we reason about based on our prior knowledge

does anyone know of a familiarity/novelty preference paper with infants, that shows the effect with first look and not (just) with DLS or any sort of cumulative looking time?

Our new pre-print is up where we show that 14-month-old infants prioritize encoding semantic information via others' perspective, using the N400 ERP component, with @vhsouthgate.bsky.social and @dimask.bsky.social.

High academic workload is a broadly recognised issue that affects scientific practice and that could be considered more in relation to open science.

See @tomhostler.bsky.social's work on this.
