Glad i went to the store before this sleet started. Christ it looks disastrous out there. Then we're supposed to get a foot of snow on TOP of this sheer fucking ice? Wont be surprised if we lose power at some point. Gonna get some cooking done so we dont have to later.

I want to save up for some shoes cuz the ones i got have a pointy plastic bit coming out the back that digs into my ankle. These ones lasted 2 winters and theyre resteraunt sneakers, so i want to get something i can walk in 3 seasons (at minimum) with decent tread & lasts years.Recs?

Just pooping in to say thank you all so much for the support the past few months. We went from a meal a day of peanut butter sandwiches and maybe ramen, to a full fridge, with rice, lentils and beans in bulk if those times come again. Food insecurity sucks. But we have food now. So thank you. ♡♡♡

Maaaaaan, i spent 30 min chipping ice, trying to get a river going so it all doesnt gather on the driveway/sidewalk, but nope. Did what i could. Poor mailman. My body hurts but ill try and sand a bit. pain levels at 6 now and its only gonna get worse. But if i dont, peeps could get hurt, ya know?
