NEW ANALYSIS: More than 80% of UK social housing still relies on gas boilers keeping bills exposed to international gas markets and climate targets out of reach.

I’ve explored how other European countries are tackling this at scale, and what the UK can learn.

🌎 On #EarthDay, we're calling on the UK government to fulfil its 2021 promise to ban commodities produced on illegally deforested land. The delay has already cost forests worldwide. We demand ambitious regulations before #COP30 in November⬇️

#Climate change scepticism has "almost disappeared" from the British press and instead been replaced by a critique of climate action.
That means as environmentalists we have to change too and highlight how climate action can build the economy and not weaken it.

I was tasked with writing a piece about why environmentalists shouldn't be too miserable about the last few months of 2024.
