I first heard @anabstractillusion.bsky.social's album 'Woe' a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely floored. When I heard that they were releasing a new album imminently I was wondering how on earth could they follow up such a heavy hitter. The answer was apparently 'The Sleeping City' because WOW!

I have a weird relationship with Death Metal, because while Im not terribly fond of the genre, but when a band is firing on all cylinders some of the most stunning music comes out of it. An Abstract Illusion's "Woe" is a breathtaking album, their new album releases next month and I'm hyped for it.
