I care about students. I care about students in science. However, we must also recognize that not ALL students are represented especially in STEM. DEI is imperative to making advances in STEM especially health. I will continue this work despite the political climate. #dei #latineinstem

DEI is not the issue. The issue is that people don’t think BIPOC individuals are smart enough or qualified to get high ranking jobs (or jobs at all). The issue isn’t DEI, it’s Racism… #dei

Shameless brag, but I finished my final project for my GIS class. I created a map of most likely areas where the Screwbean Mesquite will be most likely impacted by the Pathogenic Fungus Neoscytalidium dimidiatum. Could it be better? Yea! But I’m proud :) #screwbeanmesquite #neoscytalidiumdimidiatum

The GIS class I am in is very aggravating at times! Like why is it that my issues are always resolved with either: restarting the program, checking/unchecking a box, or using a tool that is soooo easy to use but it took me 2 days to find it. Very love/hate 😂.
