🚧 Please be advised that sections of Wallace St will be closed on Wed, Jan 21 from 7AM to 3PM for the removal of Christmas lights.

Crews will be closing one block at a time, starting at Sixth Avenue and working east toward Water St. Access will be restored as each block is completed.

Work will affect westbound Highway 1 between Exit #173 and Exit #170. Expect possible delays, reduced speeds, and lane interruptions while crews are on site.

6th Avenue at the CN Rail crossing is closed effective immediately due to a rail line washout in the Fraser Canyon.

Closure expected for approximately 24 hours.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area. Thank you for your patience as crews work to complete this work safely.

Garbage carts should only be out 4:30–7:00am on collection day and back in by 9pm. When not at the curb, store them in a wildlife-resistant enclosure (garage, shed, or secure space). Bear latches available - first one’s free! 🐻
