The original Tree of Life NOC was amended again, this time without an expiration. Since that field was left blank, it expires on December 22, 2026, one year from the filing date. Whiting-Turner is tasked with Facility Demo, General Construction, Electrical, and Area Development.

Imagineers filed an amended Notice of Commencement for the Tree of Life. The filing references the same permit submitted in February for Zootopia-related work. It doesn't extend the permit (which expires next week), so we're unsure why it was needed.

Crews have begun adding projected window surrounds to the front of the Universal Kids Resort Hotel. They do a good job amping up the otherwise simple color block design.

Starting in January, Cinderella Castle will be surrounded by cranes and lifts as crews restore her classic look. Afternoon photos should be just fine, though. Crews will clear out by lunchtime.
