Don't forget the power of a portable charger (power bank)! There's nothing worse than your phone dying when you're trying to use maps to navigate a new city or take that perfect picture. It's a non-negotiable for my travel bag.

For beating jet lag, my best tip is to get on your destination's time zone as soon as you board the plane. Adjust your watch, and try to sleep and eat according to the new time. It makes a huge difference on arrival!
