My top 4 gunpla of 2025. Not kits that were released this year, since I built zero of those, but my favorite kits I built this year. They're not all the best engineered kits ever made, but they each have something special I love about them.

Tidus FFX. I'm really enjoying digital drawing. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. I went ahead and used colored outlines this time instead of just black.

Today, we have Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. I stole the single color background with the Roman numeral from the FF Magic the Gathering set since I really dig that style. I think this is an improvement from the Terra I drew yesterday, so I'm happy.

I got a tablet yesterday to try learning digital art. I had to draw my girl Terra first. I didn't realize I had the DPI set way too low until I was halfway done, so she's unfortunately really pixely. I know better for next time lol. I don't think it's too bad for my first time drawing digitally.

Modern Bandai kits don't really require seam line filling. The only real change I did was sharpen the V-fin.

Hasegawa 1/72 scale VF-1S Valkyrie
Much more work needed compared to a Bandai kit, but the effort is worth it at the end.
Non transformable kit though.

I have felt increasingly out of step with mainstream Judaism over the past several years, but I cannot imagine how you could work at a Holocaust Museum and envision your role in this way. I just cannot imagine.
The US Holocaust Museum being more outraged by Tim Walz saying that, like Anne Frank, children today are in hiding from armed agents of the state, than they are about the fact that children are in hiding from armed agents of the state, is why Holocaust remembrance culture is in crisis.
