Excellent clip on the history of hostile architecture in NYC-it’s current form seen in the leaning benches in subways &lack of any seating (except Amtrak Lounge) in Moynihan station impacting ppl who are unhoused, older, and/or disabled. Of course, Robert Moses & his legacy are responsible for this.

Unfortunately the university cancelled the rooms for this much-needed academic conference on the silencing of Palestine just a few days before the event. Don't they see that this is bad news for academic freedom?
