In my opinion, spirituality allows us to go beyond material issues and promote peace.

As we used to say in France: "Rome wasn't built in a day." Same for French gastronomy. Let people make their own experience step by step; I prefer this to McDonald tourism. A recommendation for more elaborate (and expensive) Parisian bistros: Casimir, Le Bizetro, and Au Moulin à Vent.

Once regarded as the incarnation of the devil on earth, my black cat now proudly poses in the middle of the Beauce fields.

The flu season is here 🤧. Here’s my Ukrainian immunity-boosting recipe: blend ginger, nuts, honey, and organic lemon until fully mixed. Then keep the paste chilled in your fridge. Mix a dessert spoon of it with hot water every morning.

*To be enjoyed without moderation.

Don’t ask me why, but in France, “no pain, no gain” can be translated as “pas de bras, pas de chocolat,” which literally means “no arm, no chocolate.” As a mushroom lover, I’d add: “no full moon, no mushrooms.” In my region, old beliefs say that a full moon brings a good mushroom harvest. #nature

Does human felicity, according to Aristotle, lie in the contemplative exercise of pure reason, or in the virtuous fulfillment of man as an active being within the polis?

Even though I live in big cities now, I sometimes miss those wide-open views untouched by buildings. If Paris ever makes you feel anxious, book a train to Orléans at sunset to admire the plains — you’ll feel instantly relaxed.

Perfect timing for my first Bluesky post! Autumn’s here — the Sologne forest glows gold, leaves cover the ground, and the rain is back. Summer’s gone, but mushrooms are here. Fry them in an omelette with chives, and you won’t miss the mojitos or barbecues.
