I have a few New Year’s goals, one of them is to draw more. This past year, the world felt too heavy to want to draw and I was too exhausted. I’ll try more this year, even if its all my cats.

#MyHeroAcademia ending truly warmed my heart and made me tear up. The idea that any small act of kindness can make you a hero is such a statement. This scene in particular makes me cry. So grateful that I chose to stick it out watching this anime.

There’s this Japanese children’s book called Padorobou. My fiance and I love this little guy named フランスパン (French bread). He’s just a cat wearing a baguette and we don’t see enough merch of him. So I feel like I should remedy that by making my own.

This trend is on twitter where a person tried to draw #frieren at a difficult angle and so many artists are teaching them how they approach the angle. I redrew this so many times figuring out the angle. Proud of this person effort makes the end result feel so worth it. I hope they continue to try

Finished #SilentHillf and even though it gave me nightmares i loved it. It was a great story. My fiance watched me play and every night we would talk about our theories. #shimizuhinako

This is my sign for the #NoKingsProtest! I thought about what WORDS i wanted to put on there but i realized I CAN DRAW. It was good to see so many people out there. There was a lot of creative signs too! I felt hope. Got a lot of compliments on it!

Kindness is punk rock! Finally watched Superman. I had always been told I’m too kind and too trusting, but in times like these its incredibly important to keep those values at my core as best I can. It was refreshing to watch a movie like this.
