I’m starting an online rehab for people who have lost control of their social media use. I’m a survivor myself—Twitter/X became an addiction for me, and destroyed my life. It just isn’t worth it. Let’s heal together.

More people than you imagine have hit rock bottom, then used it as a way to build a wonderful new existence. You can too. Let’s recover together.

Through the Cool Heads Collective I aim to be the online antidote to Tommy Robinson and right wing extremism. Offering average people like me breathing space.

No one blames supermarkets for alcoholics. The same goes for Elon Musk & X. That’s why I’m reaching out to Elon, hoping, one day, users identified by the algorithm as struggling are offered a link to Clear Minds Collective. A lifeline for people like me who have lost control of their online lives.

One way I calm my mind is by watching well made, warm & spiritually nourishing TV. atm
Ludwig & Sister Boniface are my top faves. Just put them on and you’ll be calmer clearer minded in moments.

If Twitter/X existed in the real world, say as a pub, it’s one you’d never dream of entering. And the fake ‘news’ users believe they are reading, would be given no more credence than the incoherent ramblings of an aggressive & opinionated drunk, propping up the end of the bar.

We’ve become a nation of supercharged “Mr. Angry from Tunbridge Wells,” who no longer wait to see if a letter appears in print but instead gain instant access to thousands of seemingly like-minded people, rewarding us with likes, shares, and comments. This validation is illusory.

It’s easy to lose perspective on social media platforms, especially when they create an environment that encourages extremism or, in my case, an unrelenting protest. Social media may seem like a town hall for reasoned debate, but it’s a bear pit that toys with us and ultimately destroys us.
