The main goal of @digikennicott.bsky.social is going *from paper to screen*, creating a digital edition of Kennicott's Vetus Testamentum Hebraicum. To do that we are using
eScriptorium and a 4-step workflow:

1. image acquisition
2. segmentation
3. transcription
4. parsing and encoding

The core of Kennicott’s unparalleled endeavor is the critical apparatus. This is where he collects the variants found in the 600+ mss and printed editions of the Hebrew Bible he collated (with help!).
