Supposed to be having the full two weeks off but none of us do that! Spent a lovely couple of quiet hours in my writing room overlooking the sea perusing the PAS database for artefacts to reference in a chapter for my new book. Love the potential of discovering our ancestors stories through finds.

Had the loveliest few days! After Paris, I got to spend Monday hosting Father Christmas and his Reindeer for the kids at the shelter, followed by a Xmas party for the staff and residents kindly catered by my gorgeous husband's incredible restaurant staff.
