4. Big action sequences and set-pieces are fun but the little quiet moments when it's just two characters putting all their emotions on the table are the best to write and produce. There is another scene on Meachum's porch that is my favorite of the season.

3. I'm glad you dug that... I thought the audience would get a kick out of seeing how close they came to Volchek back in the day. We don't go into Mark's past in this season... I'm not even sure we go much further into his future! 😮
There have been many flashbacks for Volchek. I loved the one of him in jail & crossing paths with Mark and Finau. That was very cool. Will there be any flashbacks for Mark showing his past?

1. Excellent question. The most difficult to write is a tie between the first one... always hard to get a series going with a combo of character introductions plus plot plus twists... the other one that was hard to write is 10 for reasons you will understand in a month or so. 😬

5. Critics work hard and have a tough job. The ones who liked Countdown are obviously brilliant and talented. The ones who didn't, well, you can't get it right all the time, and you'll get 'em next time! 😀 The truth is that renewal will be based on whether or not viewers show up each week.
The fans have made it the show number 1; how does Amazon decide renewal if few critics might not care as much.
BTW - started to watch the show for Jensen. Now - watching for the story/characters! Thank you for this show!

Great question. After the episode is written, I read it over and try to find a phrase in dialogue that most encapsulates the overall theme or spirit or point of that episode.
