Honestly at this point I could care less. I'm pretty checked out when it comes to the sets for next year... Well except for tarkir
The idea of introducing new planes via grand prix teams in an interplanar death race is the kind of camp I'm actually here for from Omenpath era Magic.
The decision to make *this* how we revisit Duskmourn, however, is flabbergasting & demolishes any potential it held as a threatening entity.

Arcanis is a mysterious figure, rare in the game for only containing a creature class and no creature race. Perhaps eluding to the idea that they are a being of pure Magic. We were first introduced to this character as a pit-fighter in the grand coliseum on the Plane of Otaria
