As a nobody, I can’t just keep buying things so that I will have emails and deliveries like a real person.
It’s not sustainable…and it’s not a replacement for actually being a person and member of society.

I haven’t posted for a few days as I’ve been a bit busy being sad.
It can be sad being a nonentity, it’s not all fun and games, I assure you.

Nothing happened today.

Early night tonight.

Who am I kidding? All my nights are early and quiet.

Nonentities don’t have social lives, that’s one of the defining features.

Big surprise: I am an introvert. But! The idea that this is so severe as to border on disability is ludicrous.

Wait is it the same generation that says ‘just walk in to the office, give them a firm handshake & the job will be yours’ as have overseen AI & keyword sifting of CVs? Who’ve done the whole outsourcing & zero hours contracts?

No wonder I’m a nonentity, even my boomer mother doesn’t like me.

It’s about the time of year to not apply for the annual TV show. I could be like Nadiya Hussein (national treasure) with her warmth and vulnerability as well as charm & skill.

There’s really nothing stopping me, other than my lack of warmth & vulnerability & unwillingness to put myself out there.

Some days I really understand why there are world devouring goddesses. Like today. Today it is very clear.

Maybe my career would have been in cyber.

The national treasure that is Sir David Attenborough is 99 today and still working.

So he’s been famous my entire life and also my parents entire life.

Today I have done laundry. As a nonentity, that’s one of my household jobs.
However, I’m pretty sure by now that my husband who is a real person for sure, wears 5 socks per day. I’m judging this from the amount of socks in the laundry as it’s the only explanation for the sheer quantity.

I don’t even have a cute pet to post pictures of for interest. No cool projects or fancy cakes or recent PBs running a marathon.
I have a TBR pile…but it’s on an eReader so it’s effectively invisible.
Totally a nonentity.

The thing about being a nonentity is that you always have to entertain yourself. Nobody is vying for your attention or your time or hey, your respect.

So in a way, it’s very busy.

I’m a nonentity in the world. Possibly less than average but still, you know, white and western so incredibly #Blessed it’s just a shame how little I’ve really done with it.
