I can't imagine for very long... It's a very small, and slightly tight space in front of your mouth/nose when the undies are put on over your face snugly. Maybe a second or two?
The idea is that most of the vapor stays in that small air pocket and gets re-inhaled when you breathe in again.

And here's the other little gouache painting I did last year. I'd love to explore playing around with gouache again sometime! It was fun, but a little messy and difficult to work with since it was so easy to reactivate colors. πΆ
