In all my years, I have never before seen such shameful behavior displayed by our Prez and his Secretary of Defense as reported today. F-Bombs? Ranting over push backs from the Press for clarifications? So I ask: how are they going to handle a real crisis? Or diplomatic missions? I'm aghast.

Regarding Iran's highly enriched uranium. Yes, it's 60% enriched. As I understand it, use of uranium at this level is not required for peaceful purposes. But 90% is required for a bomb. So, how long might it take for Iran to bring their uranium up to 90%. Bet they're working on it now!!

Back in the Sixties, I volunteered to do non-violent crowd control (Quaker trained) at a DC-based monster march against the war. (250,000 marchers). Great success. Except at the end, a handful of provocateurs caused trouble. Chaos, pepper gas. The march blamed. Sound familiar?

Consider what power enough women working together might have to protect our democracy. The USA, a CONSUMER-based society. Non-violent action? Women often hold the purse-strings. Enough women acting together, your dollars could make a political difference. Reduce debt? You become free.

It may look like Trump is successfully moving forward. IMO now mainly because of LA's violent protest against ICE. They handed Trump just what we wanted to win in the courts. But even if Trump has the guns, non-violence is the answer. Take a page out of Gandhi's playbook.
