I'm not surprised that Arteta's comments about last night's ball have been blown out of proportion. Sums up what a lot of football media is about nowadays. Simply gave a quick answer to a daft question. Didn't use it as a reason for the loss.

You can't dominate every game, especially when your squad is decimated by injuries and illness. Often, games get decided by fine margins, which are usually the match-changing 50/50 calls that the officials are responsible for. I can't think of a 50/50 that has gone Arsenal's way this season.
