First, first (co)author paper from the Schramm lab, it was a fun one! Our new paper characterizes the transition state of SAMHD1-catalyzed dATP hydrolysis and is the first use of a 33P KIE for such reaction. I was fortunate enough to map the Transition State. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jacs.5c00521 🧪
