Happy Thursday, #5amwritersclub. It's a rainy 39, and should be perfect for writing, except my brain wants to make baked Ziti instead, so I'm V2Ting the scene so I can edit and straighten it out later. Such is life. LOL At least there's coffee.

Taking some TV time. Seriously, the identity crisis that Jace must be having. Orphan, Lightwood, morganstern, orphan again, suddenly someone else’s kid. Poor kid. #Shadowhunters
Every time Alec tries to find Jace with their bond, it’s always when Jace is fighting (and Jace is ALWAYS fighting). Why haven’t they learned by now? #shadowhunters
I’m very sad that they got rid of the glowing swords in S2 of #shadowhunters. I liked the built in flashlights.

It’s gonna be one of those days. My nerves are already shot, my face is numb, and my neck is stiff. Trying to find a good position to sit/recline/lay in is a pain in the a$$. Gotta figure out how to get my WC in.

As I sit here working on Book 5, all sorts of ideas for integrating the novella I started for their origin story WAY back when are starting to surface. Maybe I work on that when this is done, or maybe I spin it into book 6. All I know is there's a lot of information going on. #thePack #amwriting

Update: I found the bad guy. Apparently, he stepped away from lunch at 2:00 p.m. on December 31st in Book 4 and just disappeared off the face of the earth for 2 days. Now I have to figure out where he went. I love when characters decide to ghost you. Before you ask, no, I have no control over them.
I don't why I thought having 17 characters and 5 intersecting storylines in one book series WAS THE BEST IDEA EVER.

So, writing on book 5 stalled after the last update on 8/11. I made a deadline with Jenn to start edits on 2/1. That gives me 30 days to get 60k word count done. Guess what? A week in (and some OMG backstory and research day) and I’m at 40k+! Wish me luck, and mercy if I don’t get it to her in time.
