I've given in. I was hoping to last out a couple of weeks longer, but the central heating has gone on and the heavier duvet is going onto the bed.
On the plus side, 3 hours of free electricity a little later today with @octopus.energy, so I'll get a couple of loads of laundry done in that time.

Just back from seeing Alanis Morissette is Cardiff. Fantastic evening. Epic gig from Alanis with three great support acts.
The opener, Megan Wyn, was fabulous. Can't see evidence of an album from her, yet. Would love to see her get the @dinkededition.bsky.social Early Doors treatment.

I've been a fan of Deacon Blue for many years, and I am well aware that these are not the lyrics to Fergus Sings the Blues, but recently my brain misheard the lyric as "Can fat white men sing the blues?", and now I can't unhear it whenever I'm listening to the song!

Went last year, first time in about a decade. 3 of us who used to go there together and 1 who had never been.
