Just finished "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport. His thesis: 'Follow your passion' is bad career advice. Instead, focus on building career capital—skills that make you valuable and give you leverage. Good stuff, wish I'd read it sooner

Wrapped up a residency teaching improv today and dove into an application for an Assistant Professor role I’d love to land. I realized that my most meaningful work lately has been with newly formed ensembles. It's a big reason why I want to keep teaching.
