I think, you cannot get this kind of leader if they are in their 70s unless they've been smart all their lives and continues learning even if it becomes more difficult either because of age or long-held biases.
Our next president will have to be technologically competent, at least , in order for us to sustain our place in the world.

This will become increasingly obvious over the next 4 years as AI gets more powerful

This isn’t necessarily bad. Truly. Done right, we will be a better, more equal society

Not surprising from Microsoft. Big companies will want to keep you in, that's their nature. I only use it for games now for ones that can't be run on Linux. All else I do on my Arch which hasn't really been a problem for years unless I am fiddling something nasty.
Just as an FYI, I uninstalled Copilot and Copilot 365 and two days later, my laptop said it needed a critical update and it fucked with the BIOS and everything.

When all the dust settled, Copilot was back on here.

Shady motherfucking Microsoft.

I have wondered why Japan, from my grade-school pov of course, doesn't exactly lead the world in innovations as much in the context of NVidia or AMD or some kind of TSMC -- it's because they are stuck and had to deal with an aging population

After messing with several Linux distros through the years, I kept coming back to Arch. And of course, I will always do the installation with MatMoul's `archfi` build script #archlinux

Doc is more active in Instagram though, really wish I can totally move out of Meta. She got good stuff about neuroscience that is palatable to blunts like me
Greetings, fellow scrollers! Don’t worry, I have no intention of selfie-spamming the feed. Consider this a rare concession to formality. I just thought I’d pop up briefly to introduce myself to the BlueSky community. I’m Rachel (the neuroscientist). It’s nice to e-meet you! 🧠 🎀 #science #philosophy

"Rise of Bluesky may create progressive 'echo chamber'"

Is that what they call being in a place that's not an absolute cesspool? Because I feel this is better as a place to exchange and listen to ideas.

Also can we have a blue butterfly emoji now? #bsky #bluesky

Got a new toy! A pre-loved Lenovo Flex 5 that I intend to use for travelling. Let's see if it can hold to my beloved Thinkpad T440p.

Of course it's going to have #archlinux in it. Only 512Mb disk but should be plenty for most things even with a Windows partition in it
