The collective shout of "Pongalo Pongal!" echoed through the evening air, symbolizing the overflow of joy, prosperity, and good fortune in our lives. This hidden gem is a fantastic option for a quick escape into nature, a peaceful mountain trek, or just a quiet spot to reflect. A Christmas Day Adventure 🎄 On December 25, 2025, my friend and I decided to ditch the usual holiday crowds and explore this beautiful hill located near #Periyanaickenpalayam, just a short drive from the main city. We started our journey around 10 AM, excited for a bit of trekking and fresh air. The weather was perfect and the initial path seemed inviting. 🌤️ The Climb & A Big Mistake 🥵 What started as an easy nature walk quickly turned into a bit of a challenge! The climb up Othaparai Malai is more demanding than it looks. By the time we reached about three-fourths of the way up the mountain, we were completely exhausted. 😅 And here’s a pro-tip for anyone planning this trip: Do NOT forget to carry water! 💧 We made the rookie mistake of leaving our water bottles behind and we dearly regretted that decision as the sun beat down on us. The thirst was real! So, if you add this to your list of coimbatore trekking places, make sure hydration is priority number one. A Hidden Temple Surprise 🕉️ Despite our exhaustion and thirst, pushing through was worth it. At the three-quarter mark, we discovered a small, open-air temple dedicated to Lord Vinayaka (Ganesha). 🐘 It’s a incredibly peaceful spot with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Usually, in a Vinayaka temple, you would expect to see a Mooshika (mouse). But here, facing Lord Vinayaka is a statue of Nandi, the divine bull who is the vahanam of Lord Shiva! 🐂

I finally got the chance to visit the much-talked-about, newly opened Semmozhi Poonga! 🌳🌷 This isn't just any #park; it is truly becoming Coimbatore's pride. Located centrally at Dr Nanjappa Rd, ATT Colony, Gopalapuram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - 641018, India, this massive botanical garden is a game-changer for the city. It was recently inaugurated by the Honourable Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Thiru M K Stalin, and the excitement among the locals has been huge! 🎉 I decided to make a family day of it and visited this beautiful poonga with my loved ones. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 In this trending shorts video, I want to give you a quick glimpse of our pleasant trip and share our first impressions. From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the sheer scale and beauty of the place. The landscaping is impeccable, featuring a vibrant array of native and exotic plants, perfectly manicured lawns and serene water bodies. 🌺🦆 It feels like a lush oasis amidst the concrete jungle. The air felt fresher, and the sounds of traffic were replaced by the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. It's the perfect spot for so many things: a peaceful morning jog, a fun evening picnic with family, a romantic stroll or just finding a quiet corner to sit and read a book. 📖 There are dedicated play areas that the kids absolutely loved and plenty of beautiful spots for those Instagram-worthy photos! 📸 Honestly, though, this video only scratches the surface. The #SemmozhiPoonga is HUGE! We spent a good few hours walking around, soaking in the nature vibe, but we realized very quickly that we hadn't even covered half of it. To fully explore every themed garden, walkway and corner of this massive park, I reckon it would require at least two full days! 🤯

It’s amazing how something as simple as a small plastic toy can instantly transport you back to the carefree days of your childhood. 🥺✨ So, today was a very special and auspicious day here in Coimbatore city - it was Hanuman Jayanti (also known as Anjaneyar Jayanti)! 🙏 As part of my spiritual journey, I decided to visit the beautiful Sri Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple. 🛕 For those who want to visit, it's located at Ramaswamy Nagar Rd, Vadavalli, near Curio Garden at Navavoor Pirivu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - 641046, India. The vibe around the temple was absolutely incredible. There was a huge crowd of devotees, the air was filled with the sound of chants and bhajans, and there was a palpable sense of devotion and celebration. 🎉 But one of the best parts about temple festivals in India is always the vibrant roadside stalls that pop up for the occasion! 🎪 As I was walking past the colorful rows of vendors selling everything from flowers and puja items to bangles and balloons, my eyes suddenly locked onto one particular stall. It was overflowing with cheap, cheerful, and colorful children's toys. 🧸 And right there, front and center, was a toy that instantly unlocked a flood of core childhood memories for me. It was a simple, wind-up jumping mouse! 🐭 Do you remember these? You twist the little key on the side, put it on the ground, and it frantically hops around with a little clicking sound. It's such a basic mechanism, but as a kid, it was pure magic. ✨ Seeing it there, amongst other classic toys, felt like a sudden, sweet hug from the past. I couldn't resist pulling out my phone to capture this little moment of nostalgia for my trending shorts. It reminded me of temple visits with my grandparents, asking for a 10-rupee note to buy something simple that would provide hours of joy back home.

This isn't a video I filmed on a journey, but incredible and scary CCTV footage shared by a close friend of mine. 📼 It’s a stark reminder of how close we live to the wild here in Coimbatore city and its outskirts. 🏙️🌳 My friend and their family live in a beautiful house situated right near the forest boundary in Periyanaickenpalayam, a suburb of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Living so close to nature has its perks, but it also comes with its own set of heart-stopping moments. 💓 A few nights ago, while everyone was safely tucked inside, the motion sensors on their home security cameras were triggered in the dead of the #night. 🌑 What they saw on the monitor the next morning sent shivers down their spines. Entering their property, calm as you like, was a massive herd of three wild elephants! 🐘🐘🐘 The group consisted of two colossal adult elephants and one smaller, playful baby elephant. In this trending shorts video, you can see the raw #CCTVfootage of these majestic yet formidable giants roaming around the compound. They explore the surroundings with a sense of ownership that only true kings of the jungle possess. 👑 The sheer size of the adults in the dim night vision is absolutely terrifying and awe-inspiring at the same time. You can see them sniffing around, perhaps looking for food or water. 💧 It's a tense few minutes of footage. My friend told me that when they watched it, their hearts were in their mouths, just imagining what could have happened if someone had been outside or if the elephants had decided to get destructive. Thankfully, after their brief nocturnal inspection, the trio of #WildElephants peacefully headed back into the darkness of the #Periyanaickenpalayam forest. 🌲 Everyone in the house was incredibly relieved that nothing untoward happened and that the majestic visitors left without any damage. 😌

Welcome back to my #DeveshPrabhuVlogs channel! 👋 This video is a little different as it wasn't filmed by me, but the story was too incredible not to share. It comes from a recent night journey my friend took and it’s a powerful reminder of who the real bosses of the jungle are! 🌳👑 My friend was travelling through the dense Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve at night, specifically navigating the famous and often treacherous Dhimbam Ghat Road. 🛣️ For those who don't know, the Dhimbam Ghat Road connects Tamil Nadu to Karnataka and is notorious for its 27 hairpin bends and rich wildlife. It's a crucial route for travel from cities like Coimbatore and Erode towards Mysore and Bangalore. Travelling through a protected #forest area at night always comes with a sense of adventure and a bit of risk. My friend was luckily accompanied by experienced foresters. As their vehicle’s headlights cut through the pitch-black darkness on one of the winding curves, they suddenly saw huge shapes on the road ahead. 🌑 It was a magnificent herd of wild Asian elephants! 🐘 Not just one or two, but a group of five! The driver, knowing the immense power and unpredictable nature of these majestic animals - especially at night and with a calf present - immediately stopped the vehicle at a safe distance. Proceeding was absolutely not safe. 🛑 The group consisted of four massive adult elephants and one adorable baby elephant 🐘, all calmly occupying the #GhatRoad as if they owned it (which, in a way, they do!). My friend was able to capture this quick video, which I am sharing as one of my trending shorts. You can feel the tension and awe in the air. It’s a humbling experience to be blocked by such giants in their natural habitat. The group waited patiently in the dark, lights dimmed, giving the herd the space and respect they deserved. 🤫

Suddenly, amidst the sea of modern sedans and scooters, something truly special caught my eye. 🧐 Parked on the side of the road was this absolutely stunning piece of automotive history - a beautiful old classic car. It had that undeniable vintage charm, the kind of curves and character they just don't make anymore. It immediately transported me back in time, giving me major old-school vintage vibes. ✨ Like any car enthusiast (or just a curious person!), I simply couldn't resist. I pulled my bike over to get a closer look and hopefully have a chat with the owner. There was already a small crowd of curious onlookers gathering around it. Everyone was intrigued. Why? Because as the car moved, there was something missing - the sound! 🤫 We are all used to the iconic, throaty rumble and roar of old engines. But this car? It was gliding along in near-perfect silence. That’s when the driver, a very friendly and talented gentleman, revealed the incredible secret under the hood. 🤩 This wasn't just a beautifully restored vintage car; he had completely rebuilt it into a modern, powerful Electric Vehicle (EV)! ⚡🔋 This is the perfect blend of past and future. He has managed to preserve the stunning aesthetic and soul of the classic era while equipping it with clean, silent and efficient electric technology. 🛠️ It’s a brilliant example of an EV conversion done right. Om Saravanabhava! 🙏 Welcome back to my channel, Devesh Prabhu Vlogs, for another deeply personal chapter of my #SpiritualJourney. Sometimes, the most profound blessings don't happen inside the sanctum, but in the quiet, unexpected corners of nature. 🌿 This morning was supposed to be a regular visit to the foothills of the famous Maruthamalai Murugan Temple in Coimbatore city. While I didn't go up for a formal temple #Darshan this time, what happened instead felt like an even more direct and powerful sign from the divine. My journey began in the peaceful, early hours of this December 2025 morning. The air around Maruthamalai is always charged with a special energy. Instead of climbing the steps, I felt drawn to roam around the serene forest area near the foothills. The silence of the woods was incredibly healing, a perfect escape from the noise of daily life. As I was walking, lost in thought about some trying and hard times I've been facing recently, something caught my eye on the forest floor. There, gleaming against the earth, were beautiful peacock feathers. 🦚 My heart completely skipped a beat. For any devotee of Lord Murugan (or Subrahmanyaswamy as He is also known), finding a feather from His divine vehicle, the peacock, is no ordinary event. It is seen as a direct message of presence, protection, and reassurance. In that moment, overwhelmed with emotion, I felt incredibly #Blessed. It was a clear #sign that #LordMuruga was with me, watching over me even in the midst of challenges. It was a reminder that I am never walking alone. 👣💙 I picked up the feathers with the utmost reverence. Holding them gave me an immense sense of peace and strength, a feeling that no obstacle is too big when you have His grace. This simple find turned an ordinary morning walk into a profound pilgrimage of the heart. It was a true testament to the power of faith and #Devotion in #Hinduism.
