The Brighton one last night was just as, if not more, frustrating than the other.
On-field decision was goal.
Arma deemed to be influencing Verbruggen (GK) despite the ball being played behind him.
Tough when you consider the Arsenal goal (below) where Merino was deemed to be not interfering 🤷

The Brighton one last night was just as, if not more, frustrating than the other.
On-field decision was goal.

As a #SaintsFC supporter, it really does feel like we’re not getting the VAR decisions going our way:

❌ No pen vs Liverpool after Armstrong clattered
❌ Manning goal vs Wolves

As a #SaintsFC supporter, it really does feel like we’re not getting the VAR decisions going our way:
❌ Archer’s goal disallowed vs Brighton for offside against Arma

1) why is VAR making a subjective call on if Armstrong interfered in play? Call the ref to the monitor and let him make the call
2) Armstrong is ahead of the ball and the defender. Van hecke challenges for the ball. The goalkeeper is not affected. Therefore how can he be judged off?

I'm hoping Russell Martin has some ideas up his sleeve and I'm sure the players will give it their all, but I can't see anything other than a thrashing.
I assume it will be a 5-3-2 from saints but with no Ramesdale or Bednerak, I would take a 3-0 loss now

Looks like pep has gone back to a OG Barca style 4-3-3
Weird because it's a 2-3-5 in possession with width from the fullbacks which he doesn't really do much in the prem as it's easy to counter attack...

That's 3 goals under his xG for the last 6 GWs. Mad.
With kdb back soon he may start returning. But it's been so not fun owning a 15.4m blanking striker that I'm happy to sell even if he gets a hatricks at spurs
