#1 piece of advice I wish someone had told me when I was starting out - keep the part-time job w/the w-2. It will alleviate the tax burdens of self-employment & supplement the gaps in income that come with it

Having a day job is not a measure of your commitment or success in your field. It's smart.

The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on
