A lot more people should know about the bravery Marimar Martinez displayed in the midst of Chicago’s occupation and the murder of two observers in MSP. They tried to kill her, shooting her 5 times, and it’s a miracle she’s alive to push for transparency like this after being persecuted by the DOJ.

I was trying to give them a chance to respond, but it's been 15 hrs and nothing so: LA WorldCon is using genAI "art" on their website and promo materials. Given everything that went down last year (and with SWFA recently), it's pretty disheartening to see this.

The odds are so stacked against indie comic creators, that to find out such prominent figures in the industry have been nothing but actors makes me fucking furious for the creators who have been robbed, who never got a chance to build stability because of the games Xel and Isa were playing.
