If you knew them, do you by chance have those files and/or know how to contact janglyjewels? I know it's been 17+ years so it's a crazy question, but I've had some luck with similar quests for other cons. I’m happy to explain more, but the char limit is short so I’m just starting with this for now!

Hi, were you at the SPN con in Dallas in 2008? I’m here on a quest for some vids from Jared’s panels. In particular, “janglyjewels” shared some vids at dead links. I found a post with names of people who were with them, and one of those names (eventually) led me here. (+1 more)

Oh, I wanted to note that I plan to lighten up the red used occasionally in the sidebar too, but I can't edit the sidebar after it's been published since it's part of the actual video file. I'll make that change going forward, but for the earlier videos I can only change subtitles.

and I'll also use this new color for the very small bits of Jared subtitles at the beginning and end of Jensen's solo video. If people don't say they hate it, I'll use this color going forward and change them on my older videos too.

No worries, thanks for taking the time to look! Once I get home (in either 1 or 2 wks; it's up in the air because my colleagues are disorganized!) I'll change the color on my latest vid & put out a request for feedback. If response is good (or indifferent), I'll slowly change the other vids too.

On the PC (Chrome & Edge at least), there's no background at all. On the iPhone, you get that dark gray background. Are you on an iPhone? I couldn't find any way to override the background or change the color or opacity. No matter what settings I used in my subtitle file, the player overrides it.

Hi, if you get time could you look at this unlisted vid? It's 70 sec with 6 diff subtitle options. The 1st displays for 20 sec, the rest 10. Ideally I'd like to stay as close to red as possible for the symbolism (his marker color), but that's no good if people can't read it!

I have an enormous monitor so the words are bigger and a bit bolder on my screen. And when I preview on my phone it’s ALL nearly impossible to read for me unless I dig out the reading glasses. I’ll play with it. Maybe I can get a much lighter reddish shade or force a different background.
