Are people aware that the US has the largest “Ocular Interupter Advanced System” program in the world? Lasers used for crowd dispersals, among other things? Wonder where they test these and on whom…? Our dystopian future, Lord help us.

If ever you find yourself mulling over how the hell we got here…while browsing used books today I discovered a rare gem titled, “Big Sister is Watching You: Hilary Clinton and the White House.” OMG. I eventually chose a much more important and serious book. Hope it inspires.

I hope the NFL players will resume “bending the knee” ASAP because the kneeling of so many Republicans is causing irreparable damage to our racial/social justice movements—and stomping on the human rights granted in our US constitution.

Sarah Kendzior and her book “The Last American Road Trip”has me feeling bamboozled, nostalgic, sad and very very angry about what’s happening & how we got here. It’s gut wrenching to imagine how this current nightmare is robbing our children from having any sense of security—now or in the future.

Teenage “dating” is seriously concerning. First, the trend is to “share your location” almost immediately. Next, some kids are having relationships almost entirely based around “Snapchat,” where the other person can see all your phone activity. Relationships are devolving into toxic surveillance

How to Survival a Constitutional Crisis!

It’s no longer metaphorical. We are teetering on the edge: federal troops, once unimaginable on our streets, are now press‑ganged into cities, cloaked in authority over local law & order. The world feels truly, terrifyingly insane & the time to FIGHT is now!

Today I went to the dollar store to pick up a few things & they were SO much higher I asked the guy working (I see him all the time) “I didn’t vote for this, did you?” Apparently the woman behind me said, “She better watch what she says around here or she’s going to get hurt.” Fuck this place.

Would you be interested in doing a deep dive on campaign donors in Missouri? Because our GOP Governor just threw out a ballot initiative making employee sick leave mandatory which was passed by voters claiming that “outside money” invalidated our votes. Curious about his donors.

Tariffs are here—a $7 basic plastic shower curtain liner went from $7 to $12.50 at the dollar store. We are letting crops die on the vine, raising costs on every necessity while stripping away health care & our safety net. Why does the GOP hate America?
