Also worth noting that Prince Andrew isn’t actually losing his title. He remains Duke of York unless Parliament were to pass an Act to remove it — something that’s never happened in modern times. #R4Today

The only person affected by losing his titles is Andrew, and those around him. As far as the general public is concerned, it will not make a jot of difference. How many people actually referred to him as ‘Duke’? Everyone calls him ‘Prince’ — and that, apparently, is what he will remain. #R4Today

When people talk about “low UK productivity”, what they really mean is “low productivity outside London”. If the rest of the country matched London’s levels, the UK economy would look very different. #R4Today
