All DMPL locations are closed today for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Central Library meeting room will open as a warming center only from 9 AM-5 PM. No library services will be available.

The extreme temperature plan has been activated, and all DMPL locations will be serving as warming centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect.

The Tiny Art Show is now on display now in the Central Library Art Gallery! Make plans to visit to see 200+ mini-masterpieces by community members ranging in age from toddlers to seniors.

Penny volunteers at the library by knitting hats for community members in need. So far she has made around 125 community hats that she has left near the community fridge at the South Side Library.
