Our discovery that the inflammasome protein NLRP1 regulates axon pruning in neurons published @EMBOreports.org This was unexpected because inflammasome proteins are typically activated by immune cells in response to pathogen infection. Selena Romero uncovered a cool function of NLRP1 in neurons!
