From the archives: A pair of bald eagles made an appearance while I was photographing some goldeneyes from the seawall in Vancouver, BC. If you look closely, there’s a dead bird on the rock under them. 🦅 #TalonTuesday #Birds #WildlifePhotography
A pair of bald eagles stand on a rock with a dead bird under them. One eagle is on the left with its wings spread out, ready to take off. The other is on the middle of the rock, right above the dead bird, claiming it as its own. The rock is surrounded by sea water. Behind the eagles, two goldeneyes are swimming by. The photo was taken in Vancouver, BC, Canada and the rock is located in the waters of English Bay. A Canon 6D was used, with a sigma 150-600mm lens extended to 600mm.
