i was out and actively transitioning in highschool and almost all of the transphobia i experienced was entirely from the staff who misgendered and deadnamed me and encouraged students to do the same as well as making the bathrooms inaccessible to me
One teacher told us “apartheid was good for S Africa;” another lectured that FDR “ruined the country” by making Americans “lazy;” yet another wld force us to watch Alan Greenspan lectures and preface them by saying “now that’s a smart Jew” (the teacher ofc was not Jewish)
