Tonight's campsite is right where the desert meets the forest. Hoping to get some amazing stars tonight at the Cosmic Campground.

This morning's view at City of Rocks State Park. Got some nice stars last night, and I'll process those later on.

Drenched in divine embrace,
We’re led to Truth’s unveiled face.

Through every shade of brown that gleams,
Flow our hearts—made of dreams.

The soul arises, silent and wise,
Witness of Your boundless skies—
O Great Mystery,
Light of my eyes.

That time I drove a 150-mile EV to Petrified Forest, before there were any charging stations in the area. Probably one of the dumbest things I've ever done!

I finally covered up some of my custom wiring in the #RV. Not the prettiest job, but tripping over wires and flexing them over and over is less than ideal. I had to relocate a lot of wiring to fully integrate my EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 under the bed.

Not in the desert, but the Center Hill Dam on the Caney Fork east of Nashville is a giant fog machine in the summer. It releases cold water from the bottom that condenses the humid summer air.

The Army Corp of Engineers runs a decent campground with water and electric next to the dam. #RV #Camping

The Juniper Campground at Palo Duro Canyon was actually pretty nice. Full hookups to top the battery off, shower house in good repair, great views, pull-thru spaces for easy one night stays cheap.

The view is from the old dance hall at Coronado Lodge (now a museum).

My first thought seeing this was "That place looks a lot like Taiwan." Turns out it was.

I spent some time in Zhongli near Taoyuan back in college. I'd like to go visit again sometime.

The exterior of our travel trailer looks kinda beat (hoping to fix it up next year), but the interior has mostly been redone. We replaced most of the appliances to make it all run on electric, which we mostly power with 1800 watts of solar, 8.2 kWh of battery, plus a backup generator. #RV #Solar

One more shot from my spring trip to Moab. We were in the Canyonlands Sky Island district when an uncommon late April snowstorm blew in. Just two days before, it was hot and sunny for a Jeep press event and some mild trail running we did in our Suburban.

This little peak is called Agathla. It's near Kayenta, AZ on the Navajo Nation. We caught it right after it got a light dusting of snow this spring.

Portal, Arizona has some of the most beautiful views and dark nights. The cliff face is lit up by the rising moon in this one.
