So we have constant unending news coverage about a multi-millionaire douche-canoe being shot,.. yet how many children/teachers get shot daily,.. almost EVERY DAMNED DAY!!! and zero media coverage.

Raise sales tax on non-essentials (not food ingredients, clothing under $100,first aid supplies,etc) all you want.
This will impact those living here AS WELL AS those passing through or visiting.
Drop real estate tax as low as possible to support your residents. Theyre the voters.

They can barely keep the power on. Some heavy rain has them on their knees asking for a bailout,. But OMG theres no income tax so the tax the absolute hell out of real estate property. How does that make sense.
