Today Minister Calleary turned the sod on new €2 million Community Centre in Moneygall, Co Offaly.

Funded under the Community Centre Investment Fund, the sod turning for this new community facility marked the beginning of a new future for Moneygall.

Minister Calleary has announced the purchase of Teach Siamsa na Carraige, Baile na nGall, by Kerry County Council.

It is hoped to return the building to use as a multi-purpose Arts Centre providing a diverse programme of activities through the Irish language

Minister Calleary was in Wexford recently where he opened a number of projects including The Shambles in New Ross and The Bank Community and Enterprise Hub in Rosslare!

Projects were funded under The Town and Village Renewal Scheme

Today, Minister Dara Calleary was in Co Wexford where he officially reopened The Shambles in New Ross - a heritage site regenerated as an inviting public space.

The Minister also visited a number of other rural development projects in the county!

The New Solution Social Innovation Hub was launched on Monday by Minister Buttimer.

The Hub is an exciting step forward in how we support social innovation in Ireland.
