With the means of production withheld and essentials of life held for ransom, I would argue that the part of a wage everyone pays to survive (Food, water, health, shelter, energy etc.) is simply waged slavery.

Additionally I could speculate that those who have moved jobs a lot may become desensitised to poor working conditions and rate their satisfaction higher than they should. Humans are often comparative in nature.

Even this data has an implicit survivor bias. Those who are unsatisfied with their job often seek new ones and may be satisfied temporarily, skewing these statistics.

We've lived under plutocracy in the G20 for decades, it's only recently it's been so obvious in hyper capitalistic countries such as the USA and UK as leaders are getting increasingly brazen especially since 2016.

A wealth tax goes against the fundamentals of neoliberalism supported by most western nations. To get this implemented we would need a significant shift in economic politics.

I don't think humanity can be considered civilised until it is vastly more capable of showing others mutual respect. Perhaps stopping unnecessarily killing each other would be a good first step.

Talking about communism without the big scary words is always a fun thing to do around people who are typically right wing. It's surprising how much they agree with but honestly can be scary what they don't.

I think this is the plan though. Lose the speaking head of the cultist movement then replace with an even easier to manipulate face for the new movement.

Back a scared animal into a corner and they bite. I fear the consequences of this. But Putin and his loyalists are to blame for everything they have suffered and more. It's just a shame the war machine may lead to many more lives being lost on both sides before this is over.

I'm thinking we need at least a few people to keep X alive so they don't come over here. Or at least prepare for the day they do so we can mass block them.
