It took me fifteen years to break in. I got seven book deals—all with Big 5 publishers last year. +I turned 50 last month. Good time to bloom. Keep going. #kidlit #childrenspublishing
A bit about my author journey for all my new pre-published friends: I wrote 6 novels over 13 years before landing a book deal with Greenwillow/HarperCollins at the age of 45 and publishing 4 books in 4 years. Don’t give up on your dreams!

Ok, so, hi everyone! I’m a primary TA from Yorkshire who moonlights as a contemporary romcom/women’s fic writer when I’m not at school. I have three books out at the mo, two full drafts waiting for the next step and I’m currently trying to bang out a full draft of something new before Christmas 😴
