The reason why a lot of fans do not know the rules is due to refs like Wes McCauley.
He ego trips way too often when it comes to making calls and doesn't like to be told he is wrong. That was not goalie interference, but it's a 'judgement call'

They only missed on one first round pick (Lassi Thomas), two if you include Boucher, in the rebuild. When healthy they have elite goaltending, a great defensive structure and an above avg PP. 1/2

Any defenseman who dives head first into his goalie from behind, taking himself and the goalie out of the play, needs to not only be benched for the rest of the game, but not play another game ever. JBD would never do that. #goSensgo. . . except Hamonic, he can just go.
