Up the decommissioned trail on the scorched-side of Jefferson Ridge. Six or so hours of still quiet but for a grouse flush every switchback and a steady cadence in my heart. Finally, The Brothers—looking much more like it ought to in July, than January.

Up the decommissioned trail on the scorched-side of Jefferson Ridge. Six or so hours of still quiet but for a grouse flush every switchback and a steady cadence in my heart. Finally, The Brothers—looking much more like it ought to in July, than January.
