I want to point to this thing today. On the day we learn that Russia essentially failed at mass producing domestic processors they introduce a new tax which will be used to subsidize domestic electronics production. It's baffling.

I want to point to this thing today. On the day we learn that Russia essentially failed at mass producing domestic processors they introduce a new tax which will be used to subsidize domestic electronics production. It's baffling.

In Novosibirsk region independent gas stations which can't get gasoline from refineries are being offered by speculators gasoline but at prices that are 20% higher that the market rates. Reminder that prices at refineries are over 90-100 000 rubles.

In Novosibirsk region independent gas stations which can't get gasoline from refineries are being offered by speculators gasoline but at prices that are 20% higher that the market rates. Reminder that prices at refineries are over 90-100 000 rubles.

Russian official inflation as reported by Rosstat for the period 28th of October to the 5th of November stood at 0,11%. For November 2025 there's a inflation of 0,06% and inflation for the year so far 5,23%. Fuel prices are largely ignored.

In Bulgaria the subcommittee vote on nationalizing Lukoil took 30 seconds today and it was followed by 2 readings and votes in record time this morning. There are issues with the authority of the new director but the nationalization isn't one of those.

In case someone tries to deny there's a gasoline shortage in Russia, today the governor of Zabalkayski krai sent a letter to Russia's Prime minister Mishustin begging for more gasoline.

Russia's main tank producing company Uralvagonzavod is planning on laying off 10% of its work force in 2026. This is likely linked more to the railway section of the company but still isn't a good look mid war if railway car demand is dropping.
