After this Pennsic, work feels like an alien planet. However, this planet has AC and flush toilets, so I’m coping.

80oz of bacon fat, and another #10 can that would not fit in the jar. We’re not so much an encampment as we are a rendering plant.

Huh. Just got back from a startlingly authentic recreation of a Bacchanal. I don’t think I’ll ever react to the smell of olive oil the same way again.

“Lady of Shalott” is still going, but the beetles love this one, so the blooms don't last much past lunch.

“Prairie Joy” is still blooming, relatively unmolested by beetles. I wonder if that's because it's nearly scentless?

Finished #Sandman S2E6.

I get that I'm right in the target demo, and cling to a rosy fondness for the source material. I get that nostalgia is no friend to objectivity. None of that matters when it's on the screen. It does my memory justice.

So far, I honestly love every perfect flaw.

Cranked out this design this morning, and by evening a friend of mine had made the shirt. Technology can be wonderful.
