I just cut my finger prepping dinner. It's deep & wide enough that 4 bandaids & the blood is still soaking thru. My kid is screaming at me to go get stitches. I've never in my life gotten stitches, even for big cuts, unless I was shipped to a hospital against my will. I just need pie.

Such a beautiful day today. I've decided to walk to the supermarket in Chinatown. It's exactly 42 blocks from my place. 30 minutes. Easy cause I live a straight line to the corner of Canal & Bayard. I usually take the bus. But it's sooooooo warm outside. It's like 40F!

Such a beautiful day today. I've decided to walk to the supermarket in Chinatown. It's exactly 42 blocks from my place. 30 minutes. Easy cause I live a straight line to the corner of Canal & Bayard. I usually take the bus. But it's sooooooo warm outside. It's like 40F!
I'm horrible. Dunno what to categorize my behavior on this is. I have like 8 different types of noodles/pasta, but if I see one type is running low, I have to go buy it, even though I can just eat the other 7. Nobody would go hungry in my house. If you're in the hood & you're hungry, just come over.

This is not new. We as a nation only forget our past atrocities based on ethnicity, and the protests that came with them.

The Newsroom is actually my all time favorite TV show. It's funny, politically charged, with both sides of view; at least this was how Republicans and Democrats used to be. Mostly moderate on both sides. Now both sides are controlled by the far ends.

I've beaten this on Extreme 9 times now. I still cannot figure out how to get all recruitable characters for the best ending. Choices matter in this game, so sometimes you can't recruit one, it skips their intro entirely, or they die because of previous choices you made.

I normally don't have a favorite day. But if I did, it would be Friday the 13th. Easily manageable. Doesn't exist on a set schedule, so it's rarely around and nobody tries to make a national "spend your money for no logical reason" day out of it.
I guess except the movies. Can't win them all.

So I killed Paramount & Hulu so far.
If I'm paying for a service, I am not watching ads. That was my complaint about Cable TV, which led me to live my entire adult life not having cable.

I read dialogue sometimes, if a game is one where you find other controllable NPC. If it's a single player game & you're it; not a chance I'll sit thru the drivel.
Also read cause I'm listening to something else so the game is muted. Habit, cause games didn't talk the first 30 yrs of my life.
