There is a greater likelihood that this will be an additional order of HDF-3200 (Miguel Malvar-class) frigates.
Our sources confirmed that 🇵🇭 Dept of National Defense & Philippine Navy wanted the acquisition of new frigates to be finalized this year, with support from 🇰🇷 HD HHI to secure construction spot & work continuity once fabrication of 6th HDP-2200 OPV is done & ensure delivery of 1st ship by 2028.
